An Artistic and Academic Immersion

dancersStudents interested in the arts will find a professionally oriented, highly structured, and academically rigorous curriculum at the CREC Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. In addition to professional training in vocal and instrumental music, dance, theater, musical theater, creative writing/media arts, and visual arts, high school students learn about the history and criticism of the arts and the arts as a mechanism for social justice.

Parent Teacher Conferences

On December 6, 7, and 8 the Arts Academy will have be conducting our fall parent/teacher conferences.. These conferences are with academic teachers so are primarily for full-day students. To sign up for conferences, please use the link below.

All your favorite holiday songs, plus a sing-a-long, performed by the Arts Academy Vocal, Classical, Instrumental, and Jazz Ensembles. Proceeds go to benefit the Hurricane Relief Fund and the Music Department Fund for Guest Artists and Field Trips.

 pfaa logoParents and alumni may participate in a very active Parents, Friends, and Alumni Association.  PFAA members work together to enhance the visibility of the Arts Academy and to plan special events that generate revenue for the school, and to support the efforts of parents of artistically gifted students.
